Perth Nature Market
This is a summer market for all. Come along to visit local businesses selling food, drink, books, plants and arts. There will be a focus on nature, as this event is running in collaboration with the Tayside Biodiversity Festival. Community groups will also have stalls and workshops to learn more and help the rich diversity of wildlife present in Perth and Kinross. There will be plenty of giveaways on the day, from seeds to homes for wildlife.

To celebrate the Nature Market and Tayside Biodiversity Festival, we are hosting a variety of activities. All activities are free, but please book to avoid disappointment. Why not join the gardening workshop or Big Bug Hunt!
Join Perth Wildlife Watch group for their Big Bug Hunt! Extra spaces have been created to celebrate the Tayside Biodiversity Festival and Nature Market being held in Perth City. Join the group for a morning of creepy crawly fun as you will search for your favourite invertebrate friends. This a free event, but booking is required by emailing [email protected]

Butterfly Conservation wants to help more people connect with nature and support butterflies and moths in their local spaces. Wild Spaces aims to gives you hints and tips for making space for nature in your own gardens and local spaces.
Join our Perth Wild Spaces Project Officer for a “Gardening for Butterflies” workshop at the Perth Nature Market, where we will show you how to make space for butterflies and moths as they complete their lifecycles in your gardens or community spaces.
This workshop is open to all and will be a family friendly interactive workshop. Work as a family to plan your garden for butterflies!
