Perth Butterfly Identification and recording workshop
Perth Riverside Church in North Muirton | Free
On Saturday 25th March we'll be at the community hall in Perth Riverside Church in North Muirton to provide training in butterfly identification and recording. This course is aimed at beginners or anyone wishing to improve their skills, and no experience is necessary. It is hoped that attendees will go on to begin recording butterflies using free apps and websites, or take part in weekly surveys of butterflies in their area. Information on butterfly sightings helps us to conserve them, and it's been shown to be good for our wellbeing.
The workshop is free to attend, but booking is required. Book your place by emailing Anthony on @email
Time: 10am - 3pm. We'll spend the morning indoors learning about butterflies, then go outside for the afternoon to look for them.
Location: Riverside Church, Bute Drive, Perth
Booking: booking is essential. Email Anthony on @email . Everyone is welcome to attend, but children under 16 should be accompanied by an adult.
This event is part of the The Wild Spaces Perth and Stirling Project, which is generously funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, NatureScot. Is it being supported by Perth and Kinross Council.
