For 10 years Bristol Energy Cooperative has been developing community-owned renewable projects across the South West, delivering returns on investments whilst addressing the greatest threat of our time, the climate emergency.

These 16 projects currently have a combined annual electricity output of over 9 gigawatt hours, which is enough clean energy to power over 3,000 homes.

Our highly successful model has already raised over £14 million, and channelled £300,000 into projects that support communities - all while delivering investors a return on investment.

In the wake of COP26, we want to do more to decarbonise the grid, and faster!

This latest share offer will help us deliver new rooftop solar PV projects across the city, including on Bristol's landmark music venue, the Bristol Beacon. It will also help deliver on a smart microgrid project in Bridport, as part of a housing project comprising of 53 sustainable, affordable eco homes.
